Job Brief
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting application bugs and issues.
Responsibilities
1. Review and analyze system specifications
2. Gathering requirements to develop effective strategies and test plans
3. Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration)
4. Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
5. Create logs to document testing phases and defects
6. Report bugs and errors to development teams
7. Help troubleshoot issues
8. Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
10. Other duties as required.
11. Technical documentation of test cases being performed.
Requirements and skills
1. 4+ years�� experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
2. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
3. Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
4. Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr, Selenium) and SQL
5. Excellent communication skills
6. Excellent troubleshooting skills.
7. Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
8. B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or a related field
